St. Michael's Episcopal Church Austin, Texas

When SERVPRO of Beaumont/Banning arrived in Austin, Texas to help with the catastrophic water losses in the area we had no idea what to expect.

Our first contact was Julie who was the Site Manager at St. Michael's Episcopal Church. The Church and attached Children's Center suffered extensive damage. The water pipes froze and burst subsequently flooding the entire lower level of the Church and Children's Center. The Pews were damaged extensively, Tile and flooring had to be removed.

For Julie, her top priority was to get the Children's Center up and running as fast as possible. The Center provided much needed daycare and educated to approximately 70 kids.

Mark's Team went right to work placing the air movers and dehumidifiers throughout the Center and School. Once the moisture readings came back dry, demolition began. Demo continued for approximately two weeks with clean up taking another week. Mark's Team had the contractors in there and school reopened before we left Austin.
